I was able to obtain a certification as a Certified Christian Life Coach. This course was definitely worth it from beginning to end. This was by far a course that allowed me to learn more about my own personal journey and goals. Dr. Sellers is such a great professor that allows you to engage in the class and push you beyond your comfort zone. I truly enjoyed this class and will be taking other classes in the future.

In the Book of Genesis, Chapter 4, God rejected Cain's sacrifice because it was mediocre as opposed to his brother Abel's exemplary offering. Throughout the Christian Counseling course, Dr. Sellers was critical of the student's written presentations. Why? Because she did not want VLBI students to settle for being ordinary counselors with their expression, discernment of spirits, and most importantly in their offerings of empathy in their quests to assist with alleviating the one problem we all have experienced at some point in our lives----a form of human suffering. During the 10-week course, I learned about myself, learned that I couldn't continue to blame others (what the course refers to as external triggers) solely for my shortcomings. Yes, I had to take responsibility for the fear, anger, and passive aggression instilled within (internal triggers) which ultimately led to my self-imposed exile, alienations, and isolations. For this revelation, I thank and praise God for being a part of the Summer 2025 Board Certified Christian Counseling course. I also thank Him for my instructor, Dr. Sellers. She along with my unique, like-minded, and courageous classmates helped me to come to grips with my inner demons so that but doing so, my victories and testimonies might be used to equip, empower, and elevate someone who at this very moment feels that all hope is lost. Not so, my friend(s) as, "NOTHING can separate us from the Love of God"..........(Romans 8:38-39). Yes, He felt we were all worth dying for and I am truly thankful for this course's constant reminder!!!!!

We saw a post about becoming a Certified Christian Counselor on Facebook very close to the start of class. It was like God was saying, “You just need to start.” We were able to submit our documents & make the payment in order to start on time. Completion of this class was an introduction to going back to school completing our degrees. This was an accomplishment, we as a married couple were able accomplish together. Victorious Bible Living Institute and Dr. Renae Sellers are so instrumental in helping us get through the process of furthering our education. We Love this school so much we traveled with our children to graduation. We are looking forward completing the next level together, at Victorious Living Bible Institute.

Victorious Living Bible Institute is one of the best. Im grateful that the Lord lead me to this school. I started my journey in 2023 for my Associates degree in Biblical Studies. I have had many challenges, but the help of the Lord, the prayers of the righteous, and the encouragement from Dr Sellers and others I have made it to this point of receiving my Associate's degree. This experience was just that good, that I am going to continue on learning. The program is taught me a lot. To have confidence in myself, to stand boldly on what I know, and to never stop learning.
